The Catherine Sullivan Centre has begun a new journey as it has been re-auspiced to become Catherine Sullivan Centre – An RIDBC Service (Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children).

A beautiful and fitting ritual was held in June to celebrate the ministry of the past 46 years of the Centre and all who worked, led and governed its life. Attended by past and present Board directors, Dominican Sisters, Trustees of DEA, as well as RIDBC and Catherine Sullivan Centre staff - this ritual gave witness to the contribution and legacy of the work of the Sisters of Eastern Australia and Solomon Islands with the hearing impaired at Strathfield over five decades.
