Various Dominican communities gathered along local streets to "Light up the Dawn" on 25 April. Candles were the pre-dominant symbol, along with the Australian flag and a bunch of rosemary. The Last Post came through on Classic FM right on 6am. The Ode of Remembrance concluded the brief ceremony. Then the sharing of Anzac biscuits!

 

 

At sunset, the Strathfield community concluded the special day with prayer and the Last Post.
